To purchase an individual gym membership, you must be at least 16 years of age.
A child, age 12-15, is eligible to be added to a guardian’s gym membership, however, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Members 16 years of age or older may work out on their own.
Murphy Health & Fitness has an indoor pool that is open year round. Our gym’s indoor pool measures 25 meters with depths ranging from three-to-ten feet with an additional zero entry kiddie pool.
We do! The indoor aquatics center at Murphy Health & Fitness offers recreational swimming, lap swimming, water aerobics, H2O HIIT, and water arthritis classes. Check our aquatics schedule here.

Yes, active members enjoy 24/7 access to the gym using their personal key fob or barcode from the Murphy Health & Fitness app. This gives you the freedom to work out anytime — mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Gym Members are prohibited from allowing unauthorized guests to enter. Gym Members who violate this rule and allow unauthorized guests to enter after hours will be fined as follows:
1st Violation: $50 fine
2nd Violation: $100 fine and gym membership revoked.
The Club will contact law enforcement and prosecute unauthorized guests with trespassing!

The annual fee is $49.99/year and is billed 28 days after a new gym member enrolls and on the same date each year thereafter. The fee is used to make facility improvements.
Starting in September 2025, automatic membership payments processed by debit or credit card will include a $2.00 service fee per transaction. You can easily avoid this fee by switching your billing to your checking account.
This adjustment occurs automatically—if your primary billing method changes, the service fee will be updated accordingly.
You can update your billing information at any time by calling us, visiting the center, or using our new app. If you have questions, we’re always happy to help by phone, email, or in person.

Yes if the dependent is 18 or younger and the parent/guardian is a premium member. The cost is $8 bi-weekly added to the draft.
If you choose a gym membership option with a term agreement, once that agreement expires, your gym membership and payments will continue on a month-to-month basis.

Murphy Health and Fitness will not be offering short term summer memberships in 2026. For community members and out of town visitors requesting a membership for the summer, you may join on our premium membership for just $15.98 bi weekly and cancel at any time with a 30 day notice.

No. For your own safety, we provide trainers who are certified and allowed to work in our gyms. Our own Certified Personal Trainers would be happy to help you with any of your needs.
Trainers can help you assess your current fitness and health levels and develop a personalized plan to meet your needs and goals. Having a trainer helps people stay motivated, have clear goals and check points, and make sure they are exercising properly to meet their personal goals.
We have many trainers with different backgrounds, specializations, and expertise to fit the specific needs of members. Our General Managers are more than happy to help you find a personal trainer that is right for you.
Once you have chosen a personal trainer to work with, they will meet with you and set up a schedule that is best for you. You may also visit any of our locations and ask to speak with a membership counselor or personal trainer to meet for an initial consultation.
To cancel or change an appointment time, please contact your trainer or your club 24 hours in advance, or as soon as possible.
Silver Sneakers fitness classes are available to anyone who wishes to attend.
A child, age 12-15, may attend Group X classes accompanied by a parent or guardian. To work out alone, a gym member must be 16 years of age or older.
